This is a recital of wonderful songs by Ibert, Rubinstein, Schumann, and a wonderful new song cycle by Canadian composer Jeff Smallman called Epitaphs.  The music ranges in emotion and affect from beautifully meditative to just plain ridiculously funny. I have the pleasure of performing with the fabulous Betty Suderman, a very sensitive collaborative pianist with whom I've performed on CBC Radio 2.

This recital is for Trinity Western University's Faculty + Friends Recital Series.  Being my undergraduate alma mater, it's a real pleasure to return and share these songs with TWU faculty and students as well as the Langley community.  Please come and enjoy!
